Fake Radio
Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants) and Mindy Sterling (Frau Farbissina from the “Austin Powers” movies) will be our special guest stars for our annual holiday show: the 1947 broadcast of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
This show is more than an American Classic: it’s also our annual holiday party! So come early, and stay late: have a drink or two, meet the cast and celebrate the wonderful lives we ALL have here in Southern California.
And please bring the kids and grandchildren: they’ll probably have as great a time as you will. Maybe even more.
Doors open at 7pm for cocktails, show runs 8-9:30pm.
About Fake Radio:
Now in its third season, Fake Radio was created when Robin Jones gathered fellow comedians at a local bookstore to perform original scripts from the 1930s - 1970s. Currently led by comedian David Koff, the professional actors, voiceover artists, and comedians of Fake Radio will bring you back to the dial, theater-style. Fake Radio has performed re-enactments of original radio broadcasts, including Mr. and Mrs. Smith (starring Bob Hope and Carole Lombard), the Wizard of OZ (starring Judy Garland), It’s a Wonderful Life (starring Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed & Victor Moore) and more. Think radio is not worth a listen? Maybe you’re listening in the wrong place.
